Last updated: March 15, 2026
1. Information Collection
We collect information to provide better services to all our users. We collect information in the following ways: information you give us (such as your name, email address, and billing information) and information we get from your use of our services (such as log information, location information, and local storage).
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect from all of our services to provide, maintain, protect and improve them, to develop new ones, and to protect The Rook and our users. We also use this information to offer you tailored content β like giving you more relevant search results and ads.
3. Information We Share
We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of The Rook unless one of the following circumstances applies: with your consent, for external processing (trusted businesses or persons), or for legal reasons.
4. Information Security
We work hard to protect The Rook and our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of information we hold. We encrypt many of our services using SSL and review our information collection, storage and processing practices.
5. Changes
Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We will post any privacy policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice.
6. WhatsApp Integration
The Rook uses the WhatsApp Business Platform (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) to send and receive service-related messages. Messages may be sent by The Rook or by an authorized processor acting on our behalf.
We process WhatsApp data to provide customer support, account updates, security notifications, and other service communications. If we send optional promotional messages, we do so only when you have provided the required consent.
Data processed for WhatsApp messaging may include your phone number, message content, message timestamps, message identifiers, and delivery/read status. We share the minimum required data with Meta/WhatsApp and our messaging infrastructure providers to deliver and operate the service.
You can request to stop non-essential WhatsApp communications by visiting opt-out.kabo-labs.com or by contacting support@kabo-labs.com. Where supported by the messaging channel, you may also use keyword-based opt-out instructions included in the message.
We retain WhatsApp-related records only for as long as needed to provide our services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirements.
For more details about Meta/WhatsApp processing practices, please review their terms and privacy documentation.
7. Data Deletion Requests
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@kabo-labs.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and enough information for us to verify your account.
After verification, we will process your request within 30 days and delete or anonymize eligible data, unless we must retain specific records for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
If you contact us through our contact form or opt-out.kabo-labs.com instead of email, include the same subject line and account details so we can route your request correctly.
